NME Awards 2012

I think that the NME Awards this year were better than ever before. I loved all of the performances, particularly The Horrors and Florence Welch's collaboration for Still Life.

The Maccabees were equally as amazing performing Pelican..

In terms of fashion, I adored Alexa Chung's Navy Blue Lace Dress and the Gothic Lace dress that Florence wore during her performances.


I was also very pleased to see Arctic Monkeys, The Vaccines and Kasabian picking up awards this year, although I would have liked to have seen Tribes getting more recognition for their amazing album.

Peacock Palette.

I am loving my hand-me-down 90's jacket from my mum and so today I paired it with this polka dot dress that I got from a local vintage boutique (which also happened to be a bargain at just £10!). I accessorized with my new pork pie hat from Topshop, a pair of Chelsea boots and my evil eye ring! 

London and Wireless Festival...

I went to the Wireless Festival this year to see Yuck, Metronomy, Foals, The Horrors and Pulp among others. It was a lovely trip to London and I really want to go again just to shop around the markets and Camden!

Still Life..

I saw The Horrors at the Wireless Festival last weekend. I love this song and the video is exactly what I was expecting. I love how distorted the sounds and the images are.
